Cancellation & Deposit Policy

Cancellation and guarantee policies may vary by season. Please refer to policies as they appear on your confirmation and pre-arrival emails.

If you cancel your stay 14+ days before arrival, you’ll receive a full refund.

For cancellations made within 14 days, you’ll be charged for your full reservation.

Advanced Purchase Rate Cancellation Policy

Bookings made with our Advanced Purchase Rate are discounted and fully non-refundable. Cancellations or modifications made at any time, including no-shows, will result in a charge for the entire booking amount.

Group Cancellation Policy

Group bookings that are cancelled within 30 days of arrival will incur 100% of estimated room charges (plus tax). Cancellations made 30+ days before arrival are permitted free of charge.

Amenity Fee

The $40 amenity fee (plus tax) includes access to The Baths and shared community spaces, along with a range of guest services and amenities.

Check-in and Check-out Policy

Check in is at 3pm; check out is at 11am. Early check in is by request, and may be accommodated though not guaranteed. Late check out requests are honored on availability, and may incur a fee.

Children Policy

Pocketbook Hudson Hotel & Baths welcomes families and guests of all ages. We ask all guests to be mindful of noise, and for parents to watch their children at all times.

Dog Policy

We welcome well-behaved dogs (sorry, no cats) for a flat fee of $25 per pet, per reservation. A maximum of two dogs are allowed per room, each under 65 lbs. Dog accommodations must be booked online.

Before arriving, please review and familiarize yourself with our Dog Policies:

Dogs must be on a leash (6 ft max) and under supervision at all times.

Dogs may not be left unattended in rooms or public spaces.

Please clean up after your dog and dispose of waste in properly marked bins.

Aggressive or disruptive dogs may be asked to leave.

Guests are responsible for any damage or injury caused by their dog.

Service animals are welcome in all areas of the property.

Smoking Policy

We’re a smoke free building. If you smoke inside, a minimum cleaning fee of $350.00 will be charged to your account. The non-smoking policy refers to cigarettes, cigars, cannabis, e-cigarettes, and burning of candles or incense.

Please ask the Front Desk for locations of designated smoking areas.

Overnight Stay Policy

Stays at the hotel are reserved for in-room guests. Pitched tents, easy ups, pop-up shades, or RVs are not allowed on the property or in the parking lot.

Good Neighbor Policy

Pocketbook Hudson is a place for care and we ask all guests and staff to respect each other. Discriminatory behavior of any kind is not allowed.

To ensure everyone’s comfort, quiet hours are from 10pm–8am. Loud sound or music is not permitted, and profanity and violence will not be tolerated. Guests may be asked to leave for disruptive behavior.

Authorization for Incidentals

At check in, your credit card will be pre-authorized for in-room incidentals. Any room incidental charges will be appropriately billed to your credit card during check out, with the remaining balance released up to 10 business days.

Deposit Policy

A deposit equal to 50% of your stay will be taken at the time of booking. The remaining balance is charged to the card on file at check out. If you’d like to arrange an alternative form of payment for your remaining balance (i.e. a different credit card), please present it at check in. Early check outs are non refundable.

Acceptable Forms of Payment

We accept all major credit cards. We do not accept cash or checks for deposits or payment of goods or services.

Reservation Cancellation by Property Policy

Pocketbook Hudson Hotel & Baths reserves the right to cancel a reservation for any unforeseen reason. In the event a reservation cancellation is deemed necessary, we will reschedule at your request based on availability, or cancel and refund your reservation in full.

Minimum Stay Policy

Most weekends require a 2-night minimum stay. Holiday and Event weekends may require a 3-plus minimum night stay.

Damage and Missing Items

Any damaged or missing items by you or your guests will be assessed and billed accordingly to your credit card.

Taxes and Fees

All accommodations are subject to applicable taxes based on the nightly room rate.

Changes in Offering and Other Incidentals

Amenities and services are subject to change without notice. While we prioritize guest requests, specific room numbers are not guaranteed and subject to change.

Housekeeping Policy

Housekeeping service is daily, and fresh linens and towels are available upon request.

Security

Pocketbook Hudson Hotel & Baths is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged articles or vehicles. Please report any issues to our onsite team ASAP—we adhere to and maintain all state, county and local laws.

The legal drinking age in New York is 21 years, and we require valid ID for all persons purchasing or consuming alcoholic beverages.

Parking

Parking is available first come, first served, based on availability and complimentary for Hotel Guests. Pocketbook Hudson Hotel & Baths is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged vehicles.

Valet parking is available for an additional charge of $10.
